Amazing, amazing, amazing. Great value hotel. Room was surprisingly big and details were well thought out. Decor was very nice. Equipped with fluffy robes, slippers, mini bar, fridge, separate shower and toilet area, and even a vanity table. Huge floor to ceiling windows allowed ample light and a beautiful view of the Empire State Building. Staff were very helpful and friendly, greeted me every time I left or came back. Gym is well appointed and spacious. Will be staying only here every trip to NY from now on.

Such a fantastic visit to this hotel. We arrived without a reservation for dinner and Adriano and Jordan took such good care of us. We sat outside in an igloo with a spectacular view of the Empire State Building. We had the most delicious food and drinks as we watched the sunset, then sat amongst the fairy lights and stars into the evening. The staff here were so wonderful and really made our evening special. I will surely be back again

I wanted to thank the young man Mr. Endrik for his loyalty, charisma, support and commitment. This young man has a bright future ahead of him, and he has the potential to become a manager one day. I also wanted to deeply appreciate Juliana for her outstanding problem solving skills. Truly an honor to have met her as her smile makes you forget about the world for a minute. I also wanted to thank the night shift workers, the essential workers for making my stay, an unforgettable stay as I felt safe within the walls of my bedroom trying to gather all of my pieces together. A special thanks to the owner for making this possible, would have loved an indoor pool to be open though but we understand the difficulties and circumstances. Overall, I had originally planned for two nights at the hotel, ended up with 4 unforgettable nights instead. Thank you all and wish to see you again in the future.

My second stay here. No improvement with the lift. How hard can it be to put a card reader in place and make it obvious where it is? Instead, you wave a card around behind the lift panel hoping it might work, and it probably won't. Housekeeping didn't bother turning up at all over my three day stay. Trash was still in the room from the last punter. Charged the junk fee on my 3rd free night, so not free then. Always unplug the fridge as soon as you arrive. It's noisy and rattles every time it turns off and on. There's no room for your own stuff, so just pull the plug. It's not a bad hotel, but could be better. The staff shout welcome back when you walk in, but don't even look up from their phones. Just don't bother, I don't need a fake hello. I was thanked for being a "The Know" member, though no upgrade or benefits that I could tell.

From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out the staff were nothing short of amazing. The room was perfect. And the view was outstanding. We got engaged in NYC during our stay at the Virgin Hotel. Props to Didi and the front of house staff for making our special occasion that much more special. The room service was exceptional and the restaurant was amazing. If you’re considering staying here, I cannot recommend enough. The staff, the ambiance, the views and the rooms are just perfect and beyond what you would expect from a high star hotel in New York City. Beautifully decked out for the holiday season too. As a former hospitality professional I can be critical of hotels. I loved the low key not over the top lobby. This place focuses on service and simple. We were upgraded to a corner room with a beautiful view of the Empire State Building. The room was large for NYC standards. The bar and restaurant had great service and a beautiful esthetic. The upper area of the lounge would be a great spot to work when it’s not pool season as no one was there- which we appreciated for a bit of quiet in a large city. The location was very convenient to many things and safe.
